Welcome!
Working with Couples:
If you find yourself having the same arguments without resolution, struggling with trust, navigating the transition into parenthood, or feeling like the connection you once had has shifted or faded, I’d love to help you navigate solutions and guidance in a therapeutic space. These patterns can feel frustrating, confusing, and sometimes even hopeless. In my work with couples, I use interventions grounded in the Gottman Method to help partners better understand their interaction patterns and break out of negative cycles. I support couples navigating concerns such as communication difficulties, intimacy challenges, rebuilding trust, and adjusting to life transitions, including becoming new parents.
I help couples slow conversations down, increase emotional awareness, and build healthier ways of communicating and responding to one another. My style is both nurturing and direct. I will guide you in identifying what’s not working while also helping you build concrete skills to strengthen your relationship. Whether you’re working through conflict, healing from relational wounds, or simply wanting to deepen your connection, I strive to create a space where both partners feel heard, respected, and supported.
Working with Adults:
Many of the adults I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or unsure of how to move forward. You might feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, past trauma, or major life transitions that have left you feeling disconnected from yourself or others. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals adjusting to new roles and identities, including postpartum experiences and the transition into parenthood, which can bring both deep joy and unexpected emotional challenges.
In our work together, I aim to create a space that feels both supportive and structured...where you can feel safe to explore your experiences while also gaining practical tools for change. I tend to be direct yet compassionate, helping you stay grounded in your goals while also honoring the deeper parts of your story, including past experiences and generational patterns that may be influencing your present. My approach integrates solution-focused techniques, allowing us to build insight while also creating meaningful, actionable steps toward the life you want. I also incorporate trauma-informed care, recognizing how past experiences can shape current thoughts, emotions, and relationships.
Who I Am:
I bring a thoughtful, intentional, and growth-oriented approach to my
work. I value authenticity and strive to show up as a genuine and grounded presence for my clients. I’m naturally someone who is both nurturing and direct. I care deeply, but I also believe in gently challenging clients when it supports their growth. My clinical training has emphasized the importance of understanding both present concerns and the deeper context behind them, including family systems, early experiences, and relational patterns. I have experience facilitating groups focused on building healthy relationships and intimacy, and I enjoy helping individuals and couples better understand themselves and one another. I also have a growing passion for working with individuals impacted by trauma, as well as those navigating postpartum changes and early parenthood. I am committed to creating a space that is inclusive, culturally responsive, and safe for clients from all backgrounds. I incorporate tools such as mindfulness, communication skills, and goal-setting into my work, and I believe strongly in each person’s capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change.
RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME
A COMFORT FOOD I'LL NEVER GET TIRED OF
Baked potato soup. There’s something so comforting about a warm bowl of soup after a long day. Bonus points if it’s a crisp Fall night, the windows are open, there’s a cool breeze coming in, and I can spend the rest of the evening cuddled up on the couch.
FAVORITE TRAVEL DESTINATION
Walt Disney World — the nostalgia and sense of joy always bring out my inner child. It’s one of the few places where I can fully reconnect with playfulness, wonder, and the excitement of simply being a kid again.
A SHOW I COULD RE-WATCH FOREVER
Gilmore Girls — I love the mother-daughter dynamic, the quick witty banter, and the comforting small-town feel. It’s one of those shows that feels familiar and cozy no matter how many times I watch it.
ONE HABIT I SWEAR BY FOR MY MENTAL HEALTH
Slowing down. We live in such a fast-paced society centered around schedules, deadlines, and constantly being productive. One of the best ways I reconnect and recenter myself is by intentionally slowing down, pacing myself, and focusing on one thing at a time instead of trying to do everything all at once.
