Hello, I'm Mary!

I’d love for you to take a moment to learn more about who I help, how I help, and what it might look like for us to work together. Scroll down to read more about my approach and the types of clients I support.

Welcome!

Working with Adults:

Adulting can feel overwhelming, especially when juggling work, relationships, finances, and family responsibilities. Setbacks can feel constant, progress hard to hold onto, and it is easy to lose sight of who you are beyond the roles you play.

In individual therapy, you have a space that’s fully your own. Together, we will slow down, make sense of what is weighing on you, and explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Using a relational, marriage-and-family therapy approach, we will examine how your experiences and relationships shape how you think, feel, and respond and build practical tools to manage stress, navigate challenges, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

With consistent effort and support, you can untangle life’s chaos, reconnect with yourself, and create a life that feels more grounded, balanced, and aligned with who you truly are.

Working with Couples:

Whether you are in your first serious relationship or have been with your partner for years, relationships can feel complicated and, at times, overwhelming. You might be trying to better understand each other, struggling to find time to connect, considering the next step in your commitment or quietly wondering if the relationship can continue as it is.

Relationships can be deeply meaningful and also challenging. It can start to feel exhausting and difficult to move forward. There is a path forward. Even in the middle of conflict, distance, or uncertainty, change is possible.

As a marriage and family therapist, I approach this work with the understanding that relationships do not  exist in isolation. Each person brings their own experiences, perspectives, and needs, and therapy helps make space for all of it in a more productive and respectful way. In our work together, I help couples slow things down and create space to be heard, understood, and supported. We focus on what’s actually happening in your relationship and practice real, practical tools you can use in the moment, so you are actively building change rather than just talking about it.

From there, we will  work on strengthening connection, improving communication, and building healthier ways of relating to one another.

Change does not happen overnight, but with commitment to the process Therapy offers a way through the challenges you are facing, helping you & your partner rebuild a stronger, healthier foundation and move forward with an enhanced  connection.

Working with Families:

Families come in many forms and even with love, they can be hard to navigate. Tension, miscommunication, and unresolved hurt can make it difficult to feel connected or understood.

You may be part of a blended family trying to find common ground, feeling distance between you and your child, or noticing that family time feel more stressful than supportive. Conversations may feel tense, and certain topics may be hard to approach without conflict or anxiety.

In family therapy, we move beyond surface-level conversations and focus on what’s happening underneath. I help families identify communication patterns, understand each person’s perspective, and slow down reactive cycles that keep everyone feeling stuck. Together, we practice tools in real time, like setting boundaries, improving listening, expressing needs more clearly, and navigating difficult conversations with less defensiveness.

Change takes effort and is attainable. With the right support, families can strengthen their relationships and move forward with greater understanding and respect. The goal is not perfection, it is progress toward a healthier, more connected family dynamic that works for who you are.

Who I Am:

I enter every session with the understanding that you are the expert on your own life and experiences. My role is to create a safe, supportive space where honesty is encouraged, patterns are explored, and practical tools are discovered so you and your loved ones can navigate challenges more effectively and grow together.

Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, I help uncover patterns, improve communication, and practice real tools that make a difference in your relationships. I work systemically, meaning we look not just at individual behaviors, but at the patterns and interactions that shape relationships. We also explore underlying dynamics that may influence stress, misunderstandings, or repeated conflicts, helping you create healthier ways to relate and connect.

My approach is mindful, realistic, and collaborative. Whether it’s repairing a strained connection, navigating transitions, or managing the pressures of daily life, I help clients individually, as couples, or families become agents of their own change. With consistent engagement in the therapeutic process, it’s possible to strengthen relationships, improve emotional wellbeing, and move toward the next level of mental and relational health.
