Hello, I'm Shannon!
I’d love for you to take a moment to learn more about who I help, how I help, and what it might look like for us to work together. Scroll down to read more about my approach and the types of clients I support.
Welcome!
Working with Neurodiverse Teens & Young Adults:
Life can already feel like a heavy lift, but when you’re navigating a world that wasn’t necessarily built for your unique brain or way of moving through life, it can feel overwhelming. You might feel like you’re constantly being “worked on” rather than truly understood. Maybe school or work feels like a battleground of sensory overload, or social cues feel like a language you weren’t given the manual for.
For parents, I see the exhaustion that comes with fierce advocacy,
the weight of wanting your child to be happy and supported while worrying about the future. In our work together, you don’t have to perform or “mask” to fit in. Whether we are navigating identity, school or work stress, or emotional regulation, I provide a space where your neurodivergence or
developmental journey is respected, not “fixed.” We’ll focus on real tools that help you feel more in control and more like yourself, all while honoring exactly who you are.

Who I Am:
I’m a therapist who believes connection is the most powerful tool for growth. My background is deeply rooted in supporting children and adolescents in school settings, giving me firsthand insight into the challenges of learning, social dynamics, and advocacy. I’ve worked extensively with children and teens with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder
and Down Syndrome, and I bring that experience into every session. I’m not here to give you a clinical lecture or a quick fix; I’m here to walk alongside you. I bring a mix of structure and creativity to our sessions, ensuring therapy feels approachable and human. Outside of the office, I’m a parent myself, which keeps me grounded in the beautiful, messy reality of raising a child
and fuels my passion for supporting the next generation. If you’re ready to start, I’d be honored to help you and your family find your way forward.
